NNNN.com sales in last 8 months

I have compiled all the reported NNNN.com sales from the Namepros sales report thread, and have done some basic analysis of the data. There were 75 reported sales for a total value of $253,710 or an average of $3,383 per domain. If you take out potential outlier/end-user sales, arbitrarily defined as sales over $1,000, the average sale is $523. Again excluding "outliers", average sale price for domains starting with a "0" was $480, average sale price for domains starting with a "4" was $462, average sale price for the rest of the NNNN.com's was $552. Exit Polls Mixed, May Show Tight Race

Drudge says Obama big, up 15+ in PA. But Gawker shows tight results. Obama +4 in PA, +2 in VA, -2 in NC, +1 in Florida, +1 in Ohio.

Exit Polls Released (still no actual numbers)

Ok, the first batch of early exit polls are coming out now. Of course, exit polling is highly unreliable, as we found out in 2004 and in many of the Democratic primaries earlier this year. Last election I remember Kerry contracts on Intrade going wild at this time once the exit polls came out showing that he would win, only to crash later in the night as the real results came in. Therefore, don't put too much stock in these numbers. Nevertheless, here's what is coming out:

From Fox News (only 12% of polled voters will be excited if McCain wins, 32% will be excited if Obama wins).

27% of voters say they were contacted by Obama camp. 19% of voters say they were contacted by McCain camp. 32% will be excited if Obama wins. 12% will be excited if McCain wins. 23% will be scared of Obama wins. 30% will be scared if McCain wins. 51% say government should do more to solve problems. 43% say government is doing to much. 70% worry about another terrorist attack. 67% worry about being able to afford healthcare. 32% not worried about affording healthcare. 28% of voters oppose offshore drilling. 68% in favor offshore drilling. 75% said Supreme court nominations factored intlo their opinion 70% predict their taxes will go up under Obama. 61% predict their taxes will go up under McCain. 49% predict their taxes will go up no matter who wins. 67% think Biden is qualified to be President. 38% think Palin is qualified to be President. 61% say Michelle Obama would make a good first lady.

Exit Polls will be released at 5:15pm

According to Drudge. Apparently the dip in McCain's intrade was not that large, and probably due to Drudge's announcement of Obama celebrating already. Once the actual numbers come out (presumably showing an Obama landslide), I expect to see McCain's intrade numbers drop drastically.

McCain drops below 8 on Intrade

As Drudge reports Senate sources say Obama breaking out the champaign and Dems expect to pick up 58 seats in the Senate. Still no exit polls, probably will come out in the next few minutes.

Exit Polls and Election Coverage

I will try to do some coverage of exit polls when they come out in 10 minutes hopefully. Also, USNews is reporting optimism (?) from within the McCain campaign? That seems far-fetched. I would note, however, that Intrade contracts for McCain were trading around 7 a few hours ago and are now at 8.3, for what it's worth.

Mediocre NNNN.com goes for over $2k

On October 28, 2008, 0937.com sold for $2,100 on Namejet. This follows a string of high-value NNNN.com sales, many of which we have chronicled here.

Looks like 0937.net and 0937.eu (?!) are developed sites.
