6n.com Registration Update

The last time we looked at 6n .com's, approximately 73% were registered, or around 730,000 out of 1 million.  That was in July of this year.

It's now almost November, and it seems as though registration trends for 6n's remain strong.  There are now about 77.5% registered, using random sampling.  Using 15 bulk domain searches of 500 random 6n's, here are the percentage registered in each random search:

The total average from all searches was 77.53%, which corresponds to around 775,000 registered 6n domains.

Random bulk searches are reasonably accurate at this level, and margin of error should be around 1%.  So it's probably correct to say that around 45,000 6n .com domains have been registered since the last time we checked.  We are still on pace for a complete buyout in about three years, if the registration rate holds up.
