Closer Look at NNNN.com Prices

I've assembled a database of nearly 300 NNNN.com sales and thought it would be interesting to look at the numbers in more detail, by year and starting number, to get a basic sense of how starting number impacts price and how this has changed.  I grouped domains into two categories (sales in 2009 and earlier, and sales in 2010 and 2011).

Starting with a "0". 
< 2010 Sales (14): Median Sale Price: $510.  Average Sale Price: $619.
2010+ Sales (7): Median Sale Price: $950.  Average Sale Price: $1,025.

Starting with a "1"
< 2010 Sales (11): Median Sale Price: $1,037.  Average Sale Price: $1,372.
2010+ Sales (7): Median Sale Price: $2,078.  Average Sale Price: $3,377.

Starting with a "2"
< 2010 Sales (18): Median Sale Price: $508.  Average Sale Price: $1,244.
2010+ Sales (21): Median Sale Price: $1,500.  Average Sale Price: $2,607.
